The BB-580D Round Flush Mount Back Box is a metal case that can be attached to TOA’s PC-580RU/RVU and IP-A1PC580R flush-mount ceiling speakers for flush-mounted applications.

The back box shall be a round, flush-mount enclosure designed for use with TOA ceiling loudspeakers, including models PC-580RU/RVU and IP-A1PC580R, in flush-mounted applications. It shall be constructed of galvanneal (satin-coat) steel with an unpainted finish and shall have an anti-resonance spray coating applied to the interior to reduce vibration. The enclosure shall have an internal diameter of 10 inches at the base, an external mounting flange diameter of 11-5/8 inches, and a depth of 5 inches. It shall be equipped with four ½″–¾″ two-way knockouts spaced at 90-degree intervals around the body, positioned 2 inches from the back, and shall include four mounting straps for secure installation. The back box shall be the TOA model BB-580D or approved equivalent
