Timberlea is a public school located in Gym Fort McMurray, Alberta. They dedicate themselves to supporting their students in becoming successful and responsible citizens.
Purpose
While reviewing their gymnasium’s current sound equipment, Timberlea Public School decided it was in need of an upgrade. Being an important place for student gatherings and other daily activities, it was of upmost importance to increase the level of audio clarity.
Challenges
As with most gymnasiums, high amounts of reverbation is a major issue that requires overcoming. Additionally, the school’s gymnasium has two large Peavey Speakers installed that need to be replaced.
Solution
TOA Canada had mastered many gymnasiums in the past. Immediately, TOA designed an audio system that fully matched the space’s potential. By utilizing TOA’s SR-S4S and SR-S4L speakers, high-quality audio is able to be pumped throughout the gymnasium in a manner that greatly reduces the amount of reverberation while being powered by TOA’s DA-250F amps.
