This time served in part as an opportunity for members within the TOA Americas Region to ditch the screens and Teams meetings, instead being able to come together in person for a series of dynamic meetings covering a vast set of topics and department projects. These sessions fostered cross-cultural collaboration, allowing participants to exchange ideas, align on priorities, and strengthen partnerships, allowing the teams to focus on shared goals and strategies for growth and prosperity in 2025 and the near future. With a continually growing team in the Americas region, the 2025 kick-off also allowed for curated training sessions, demonstrations, and hands-on educational content to be presented, ensuring that all members are on level footing and are confident in their comprehension of how TOA develops sound solutions for their clientele.

In addition to the more structured meetings and educational content sessions, the 2025 kick-off served as an opportunity for Americas’ technical and sales team members to meet and discuss trends in local markets. Being able to discuss with key TOA HQ members who had travelled all the way from Kobe, topics ranged from innovations and projected developments in all things AV, to brainstorming global solutions to prosper in the saturated North and South American markets. These discussions set the tone for a year of impactful teamwork and progress

Team-building meals, genuine moments, and activities played a pivotal role in fostering connections and camaraderie among the Canadian, American, and Japanese team members. Shared meals offered a relaxed environment to celebrate cultural diversity, with participants sampling various cuisines while exchanging stories, lived experiences, and laughter. Moments such as these are beyond important, as they build trust and rapport among members who typically can only converse digitally, emphasizing the value of teamwork beyond the meeting room (digital or otherwise). These moments of bonding reinforce a strong foundation for collaboration and mutual respect we share as TOA team members as we embark on a shared journey in 2025.
