TOA Canada Corporation is happy to announce the release of our newest firmware update expanding the functionality for our IP-A1 series to the Canadian Market! A system dedicated to delivering paging, announcements, or other audio communications, this update expands system capabilities whilst continuing to deliver on our reputation for high intelligibility and sound quality.

We’re constantly looking for ways to innovate, to expand the capabilities and versatility of our products so that we can better serve our users. In this journey of developing new avenues or additional affordances to deliver crisp, clear sound we’re happy to announce the release of a new firmware update providing additional functionality to the IP-SC15MC. 

A cornerstone of our paging and communication systems, the IP-A1 series IP endpoints adopt common industrial standard protocols for its audio communications and controls, which helps to establish fully integrated systems. Equipped with a variety of form factors, our IP-A1 series devices provide a full system solution whilst also capable of harmonizing with external devices and platforms such as external SIP phones, security VMS (Video Management Software), Access Control, or Sensing systems. The new firmware update targets our IP-SC15MC Bi-directional Horn Speaker, providing several new features and expanded functions that enhance system performance and streamline configuration.

IP-SC15MC firmware update includes the following:

1. Digest authentication for Web API updated – for remote control over HTTPS
2. DHCP updated – DHCP IP address function enable
3. SIP server registration update – Beside IP address, Domain Name registration is accepted
