The TOA Canada team is pleased to announce the successful validation of interoperability between the Grandstream VoIP-PBX integration with our CX-1000 IP Intercom series. With this heightened functionality, we are confident that the CX-1000 system serves as a competent modern IP telephony system coupled with the advanced, reliable communications infrastructure that TOA has decades of experience innovating and refining.

Within this recent systems compatibility validation, the TOA Canada tech team can confirm reliable SIP-based connectivity between the two systems. This functionality enables users to seamlessly connect the CX-1000 IP intercom platform to enterprise telephone networks via the Grandstream UCM6202, allowing for bi-directional communication—as well as supporting a wide range of communication applications in educational, healthcare, commercial, industrial, and multi-building campus environments.

As part of the testing, the TOA Canada team verified key functions and operational processes, including external telephone access from CX-1000 stations, incoming call routing from the PBX to CX-1000 endpoints, direct extension dialing, direct-in-line routing, SIP INFO-based DTMF signaling, and G.711 μ-law audio compatibility.
