Purpose

Within this new pavilion, a new sound system would be required to distribute sound throughout the premises. Additionally, the school’s gymnasium also required a sound system fit for the multi-purpose space.

Challenge

As this was not a solely new construction project —but rather an extension of the existing school— the primary challenge this project faced was designing a system that integrated well with all existing hardware. Additionally, this new system would need to accommodate the lack of bell scheduler in the existing system.

Solution

Our N-8000 Series intercom served as the solution to the challenges within this project. Utilizing the various interfaces and user touchpoints, the TOA team and integrators drafted up a design that perfectly fit the needs of the project. For the gymnasium, our F-2000 box speakers were utilized in order to deliver clear speech and dynamic sound fit for all the activities held within.  Requiring amplifiers that pack a punch, the speakers were then powered through our DA series of amplifiers.  

Feedback

The project was completed without issue, and school staff were completely satisfied with this new system, as well as its ability to integrate with existing infrastructure throughout the school!
