The Stratford Festival is an internationally recognized annual repertory theatre festival, which operates from April to October in the city of Stratford, Ontario.

Purpose

Facilitators for the event space wanted to replace the old equipment and desired to enlist TOA's help to design a modern and reliable public address and mass notification system.

Challenge

Being a multi-purpose space with both an interior and exterior focus, the primary challenge of this install was to be able to create an integrated system both for the inside locations and outdoor facilities, while still utilizing the pre-existing mounting locations for equipment.

Solution

Working with the installer, our technical team utilized EASE Vac software to test and develop an optimized arrangement that connected the equipment, whilst still providing the sound quality desired. The new Mass notification and paging system provided the Stratford theatre with the reliability and functionalities they were looking for.

Feedback

Even with the spatial limitations due to the existing mounting locations, the quality of sound delivered by the new system was very well received. The system works well and the theatre owners are very satisfied with the outcome and their choice to use TOA products.
