Purpose

Mount Carmel desired to expand the flexibility and usability of their gymnasium, looking to acquire and install speakers that would provide superior sound, so that the gymnasium could be used for assemblies, dances, performances, and more.

Challenge

This project was somewhat of a modular job, meaning that the new equipment had to be able to mesh with the systems and components already in place. A prominent issue for this project was ensuring that all the cabling that was currently in the gymnasium audio system would easily work with the TOA solution once the ill-matched speakers were removed. 

Solution

These HX-7 series of speakers served as a perfect fit for this project, as well as for a school gym for that matter. They are impact-resistant (don't require caging), whilst still capable of not compromising on offering great sound. The compact array system allowed for the adjustment of speaker direction to allow for perfect setup with the correct sound dispersion.

Feedback

This system was an upgrade of an existing system that had poor sound quality. The school is happy with its new TOA design, as it provides a sound system with impact within a reasonable budget.
