Purpose

With customer experience always at the forefront of the company's motivations, a new and reliable PA system needed to be installed on a passenger train in order to elevate the sightseeing experience for all travelers aboard. 

Challenge

The primary challenge posed by this project was the pricing restrictions, the team over at NB Southern Railway was looking for the very best solution they could find within their limited budget. Adjacent to this, it also needed to be easy and straightforward to use,  if the system in place was tedious in any way it could mean that impromptu sightseeing announcements may not be able to be made in time. 

Solution

Given the size of the space in which the PA system would be used, there was no need for a powerful system, so the TOA tech team put together a system using the 5000 series microphone in combination with the F-1300 speaker to produce good quality sound on a budget.

The customer is very happy with the great sounding PA system that fit both their budgetary and usability specifications.
