The Louise Marshall Hospital is a community hospital operating 15 inpatient beds serving the health care needs of the Wellington North catchment area. Located in the town of Mount Forest, our fully accredited hospital offers a range of primary and secondary services including 24-hour emergency services, inpatient and outpatient care, specialist clinics and supportive diagnostic services.

Purpose

They requested the TOA intercom series equipment to create a safer way to communicate with the Pharmacy.

Challenge

The hospital required hands-free communication, but also that the additional intercom equipment would be integrated to the already existing system.

Solution

TOA provide the hospital a design with the N-8000 IP intercom series. By utilizing an exchange box, master station and a flush mount hands free door station that could connect to a foot switch keeping hands safe from touching contact areas.
