Purpose

The management wanted to provide the residents with an upgraded entertainment area for their recreational time. After deliberations, the management team landed on an AV system, and sought a functional system that sounded great and was uncomplicated.

Challenge

The primary challenge for this project was that the entertainment room at this residence has very high ceilings, also that the room itself is large and open-concept. Providing high-quality sound for the residents was of the utmost importance to L’Accueil Colombien, and as such these spatial issues had to be mitigated as best possible.

Solution

In addition to providing a system that could be configured and tweaked to provide the best possible sound for this unique space, TOA proposed an AV system that encompasses a cable TV receiver so the residents can also enjoy viewing sporting events such as the Olympics or curling. 

Feedback

This spirited and lively group of residents enjoy the sounds that are played through two HX-5W (Variable Angle Speakers) clusters, complimented with a subwoofer (FB-120W). The entertainment system makes their days more enjoyable and fun.
