JG Homes Arena includes an NHL-size ice surface to go along with 2 mini rinks adjacent to the main ice. Located outside of the arena there is a sport court area that includes two pickle ball courts, volleyball and basketball courts.

Purpose

The provincial Government backed the construction of a new Arena in Brandon. Along with the usual requirements for access to members of the community, the need for a strong communication and audio system for the safety of staff and visitors. 

Challenge

Designing a system and selecting the correct equipment to ensure an audio system that is intelligible was easy. The challenge was meeting the budget requirements of the province, working with the installer, and training them on the finer points of our equipment.

Solution

Working closely with the arena management, the integrator and province, TOA delivered a design and audio equipment solution that met the budget constraints and the high performance standards they demanded. By utilizing the combination of H-X5 compact array speakers with the powerful DA amplifiers, the system easily covered the entire arena. The M-864D added a second level of sound processing for clearly sound.

In the end with great work from TOA tech department and strong work from the installation team, the arena sound quality was well received my arena management.
