JD Sports Locations Across Canada
JD Sports is a British multinational retailer that sells sports and casual clothing, footwear, and accessories. With its roots in Europe, the company has grown exponentially, having now crossed the pond over into North America, where they now have dozens of locations across Canada.
Purpose
Looking to craft a desirable customer experience, the JD sports team sought out a modular sound solution that would be able to slot into various locations across the country with minimal variation required, all without sacrificing aesthetics or functionality.
Challenge
While not a challenge for TOA products specifically, the aspect of utmost importance for the JD sports team was sound quality above all else. The system in place thoughout the country needed to be one that delivered high quality sound, as to not negatively impact or dissuade customers during their time spent in-store.
Solution
When looking for a aesthetically pleasing solution that prioritized sound quality, our A-824 and PE-304’s served as prime choices for a project such as this. The A-824 mixer amplifier provided flexibility and power. And with its browser-based control and monitoring adjusting systems is a breeze. Our pendant series is become an increasingly common staple of retail spaces across the country, and these new stores exemplify why. The PE-304 is ideally suited for BGM and announcements, as such serving as the perfect discreet delivery system for high-quality sound in these stores.
Feedback
This design has been a smashing success so far. As JD Sports continues to expand across Canada, this design continues to be implemented across all locations, with more continuing to pop up. With a system that sounds this good and fits into the visual design strategy of the stores, we’re happy to be able to continue providing JD Sports customers with a pleasant shopping experience.
