Purpose
During the latter stages of the design process, the engineers began searching for the right audio solution that delivered intelligible audio with coverage throughout the building and directly to the various segments of the Gurdwara. They required the audio system to play background music and do public addresses.
Challenge
The Gurdwara did offer up a couple of challenges. With its vast space and high ceilings, the TOA design team focused on ensuring that acoustically the sound was clear and to minimize reverberation.
Solution
Our team in collaboration with the installer, created a solution which, overcame the challenges and enhanced the sound system from previous ones. By utilizing the digital matrix mixer, the M-9000 series together with a DSP, sound is enriched. Connecting to the powerful DA series of amps, the amplified audio owed to the high-quality HX-7 compact array with subwoofer. The system was configured to operate as required with proper timing adjustments. With the directivity of the speakers reverberation was reduced tremendously.
Feedback
During the testing phase, the Gurdwara was very happy with the professional sounding audio and the clarity in all areas of the building. The real-time live performances sounded great and they were excited to use it to there members.
