Purpose
Davis Bay Elementary desired a new system to modernize scheduling, paging, and announcements. They also desired the ability to schedule school bells and make use of the benefits coupled to IP audio technology.
Challenge
Like many projects, budget consciousness was a major point of consideration for the school, which did limit the options Davis Bay had available to them in terms of brands and systems. Additionally, the desired features and capabilities listed above were essentially the sum-total of what they desired, with the additional points being a SIP connection requirement, and integration with an existing phone system.
Solution
TOA’s IP-A1 series was able to cover all the needs of the school desired, whilst still staying within their budgetary restrictions. Our IP-A1 series met all the needs for this school’s ideal PA system and was also able to incorporate the telephone system to handle pre-announce tones that were the school was missing prior to this IP-A1 setup.

The school was very happy with its new system, especially with the IP-A1PG, as it afforded them bell scheduling functionality.
