Purpose

The Center de Services Scolaire de Montreal Marguerite Bourgeois, required a new sound system that delivered a mixing capability to engage in both music and announcements. The Other key need was the ability to make announcements in various areas within the building. 

Challenge

This project was straight forward and the equipment recommended by TOA was accepted and the installation by the integrator was completed quickly. What was challenging was ensuring that the cost was within the budget the CSSDM provided. 

Solution

By utilizing TOA’s 9000 series matrix mixer and amplifier as the head end the conferencing and multi zone paging was successfully accomplished. F-series wide dispersion speakers replaced the older poor quality speakers’ throughout the building. Lastly, TOA’s 9000 matrix mixer amplifier was compatible with Key Digital Controller that the CSSDM currently used to operate the sound system. 

Feedback

The audio and communication solution worked well and delivered on the clients objectives. Team members over at CSSDM were all very pleased, and hoped to create the same solution in other facilities they operated.
