The Marguerite-Bourgeois School Board is a French language public school board on Montreal Island, Quebec, Canada. Its headquarters is in the Saint-Laurent borough of Montreal. Its education centre is in LaSalle, also in Montreal.

Purpose

The school needed to power up its paging system to enable a louder and higher quality sound.

Challenge

The main challenge for this project was ensuring the right fit for the application, more specifically ensuring that the amplifier chosen was not overkill, but rather that it provided the power and functionality that the school required.

Solution

Using the multi-faceted DA-250F Multichannel Power Amplifier was decided to be the best option and was easily installed with the integration into the already existing paging system.

Feedback

The amplifier worked very well, the sound strength was remarked as high-quality, and the upgrade was quickly noticed by the staff at the school.
