Purpose
Frog Lake high school in Alberta was in need of an upgrade to the School Audio Systems for the building and theatre. It was important to improve the sound quality over the deteriorating speakers they had. They also wanted to improve the theatre sound as more focus was being given to drama.
Challenges
The challenges were minor in this project. The TOA team understood their needs and our job was to train them on the equipment we recommended and how they would enhance the audio system. Also, ensure that the sound in the theatre was clear and loud through the two-story auditorium.
Solution
The PA System was the first part of the job, and TOA used our PA amps and PC speakers for quality sound and budget conscience. In the theatre, we used the powerful HX-7’s, our high-end compact array speakers. The M-864D DSP provided the sound enhancement for intelligibility, while our versatile DA amplifiers power the audio system.
Feedback
TOA provided a full audio system that the school board and community were very happy with and they tangibly noticed the improved sound.
