Intercom

AGS, also known as Alaqsite’W Gitpu School, was established in September 1997. It caters to a diverse group of 250 students, ranging from nursery to grade 8. AGS is proud to be one of the six schools selected from First Nations communities across Canada to participate in Microsoft's First Nations 21st Century Digital Learning Village Network Project. This exciting initiative empowers both teachers and students by offering them access to a wide range of digital tools and resources for enhanced learning experiences.

Purpose

Alaqsite’W Gitpu was in need of updating their old intercom, paging system, and gymnasium audio system. They wanted a dependable system that is user-friendly and can offer effective communication for the school, as well as high-quality sound for the gymnasium.

Challenges

It was quite challenging to deliver equipment and hire an integrator for the project due to the school's location. Additionally, the school had a tight budget with limited flexibility. As a result, the TOA design team had to come up with a simplified yet high-quality system that would fit their budget while still meeting their expectations.

Solution

Most of the project discussions regarding TOA products were conducted via phone calls. AGS was highly recommended to consider the N-8000 IP intercom system. After its installation, this system has exceeded their expectations by delivering exceptional audio quality and fulfilling their desired communication requirements.
