Purpose

Bishop David Motiuk, part of the Edmonton Catholic School board, was in the market for a new school paging interface, audio system for the gymnasium and was very interested in TOA IR-800 classroom system. The wanted to improve the gym audio and paging capabilities for the administration. The classroom system became part of the install after they Demo’d the kit and saw the benefits for their students.

Challenge

There wasn’t many challenges in this install. It was a typical school install and the integrator was well versed with the TOA product line.

Solution

Working with the local integrator and our TOA design team a plan was set forth to easily install the audio system and enhance the paging system. The IR-800 classroom system was actually very easy to install and caused very little classroom downtime.

Feedback

The school was very satisfied with the updated paging system and new functionality. The audio system in the gymnasium sound great and the teachers and students really found the IR-800 classroom system increased learning and participation.
