IP-SC15MC

The IP-SC15MC is a network horn speaker with a microphone, which can receive broadcasts initiated by other terminals or servers and supports device configuration through a web browser. The device is also IP66 rated and can withstand temperatures as low as -45 °C, making it ideal for outdoor use. Powered by PoE/PoE+, the horn hosts audio files stored for playback, and provides an external dry-contact out for external device control. With loop fault detection function, the device can provide regular updates on its operation status.

The IP-SC15MC is designed for outdoor use. The horn shall be a double re-entrant design suitable for paging and tone signaling distribution. The speaker component shall be a compression driver with a phenolic diaphragm to prevent deformation from heat and moisture. The rear cover is designed to meet specific weatherproofing regulations (IP66 enclosure standards) to protect the PCB board. The network horn shall be manufactured with a microphone for bidirectional conversations. Network interface should be a RJ-45 CAT5e or higher. The network interface comes with twocolor (green, orange) link lights, which indicate network connectivity and power status. There shall be a Control OUT to send dry contact to external devices and a Control IN to receive a dry contact to trigger playback or other events. The speaker component shall be a compression driver with a polyimide diaphragm to prevent deformation from heat and improve low frequency characteristics. Power handling shall be 15 W (+/- 10%). The sensitivity measured at 1m with 1 W of power applied from 500 Hz - 2.5 kHz, peak level shall be 113 dB. Frequency response shall be 250 Hz - 10 kHz. The paging horn shall comply with the IEC IP66 standard for dust and moisture and operate within a temperature range from 45°C to +55°C (-22°F to +131°F).
