Purpose
Willow Park needed to install an audio system to project the voices of both the teachers and students clearly throughout the classrooms. This installation was crucial to enhance the students’ learning by enabling them to have greater focus and less noise distraction in class. Additionally, such a system would ensure that no student would miss out on any portion of a lesson irrespective of their proximity to the speaker.
Challenge
The challenges this installation faced were quite standard ones for a project of this style, Willow Park had classroom issues such as feedback, level control, usability and RF issues with crosstalk.
Solution
The school had previously tried several options but all were met with less than desirable results. However, TOA Canada was able to solve all of their problems with the IR-800. The IR-800 produced much higher audio quality, provided more inputs and enabled teachers to have the ability to easily switch from one room to another.
