Purpose
The community of Weyburn wanted to add a field house to go alongside the Spark centre. The field house would be used for sports such as soccer, field hockey and other turf activities. The building required a strong and intelligible sound system so to ensure music and announcement were heard and keep visitors safe.
Challenge
There were no major challenges except keeping the design and equipment under budget. We are pleased to state that this is yet another instance of both the installation and integration of the system being completely frictionless.
Solution
The installation and integration of the system went very smoothly. To accomplish their requirements, TOA recommended using the pro audio speakers HX-7 directive array speakers with their high performance and ability to be adjusted to guide audio where it needs to go. The audio sound was enhanced digitally with the DP-SP3 process and the entire system was powered by the multichannel DA amplifiers.
Feedback
After installation and operating the sound system a few times the community leaders were very happy, with both the performance and sound quality.
