Purpose

The new expansion at the French École Allain St-Cyr included a new gymnasium which needed a sound system for school gatherings and sporting events. 

Challenge

The gymnasium at the school had high ceilings which could cause reverberation and one side of the gym was glass that looked into the workout room. The sound coming from the speakers has to provide intelligible sound but not overwhelm with to much power. Also the audio system would have to have the ability to direct sound into the right area of the gymnasium.

Solution

The integrator of the project selected TOA products to solve the challenges. The combination of the HX-7 line arrays permitted both constant directivity control over a wide frequency range and changes in directivity. The FB-150 subwoofer added the low pitched frequencies for a clearer and fuller sound.

Feedback

Customer is very pleased with everything especially the sound clarity projected form the speaker and sub combination.
