Founded in 1967, Conestoga College of Applied Arts and Technology is a public college with multiple campuses in major cities across Ontario. The schools boast an enrollment of 11,000 full-time students, 30,000 part-time students, 3,300 apprenticeship students. A leader in polytechnic education and one of Ontario's fastest growing colleges, Conestoga delivers career-focused education, training, and applied research programs.
Conestoga's Kitchener campus required a campus-wide paging system installed. The goal of this project modernize the campus that has been serving the Kitchener community for 50 years already with new systems that would provide complete coverage and clear and intelligible sound deliverance.
Challenge
Aside from the quirks that were to be expected when dealing with a building of this size and age, there was no real challenge in this project. The Conestoga and TOA teams worked hand in hand to ensure a seamless and successful installation.
The Amplifiers are installed throughout the campus allowing the controller to perform multi-zone paging, for everyday paging and emergency paging. The speakers were strategically placed to perform at a high efficiency and provide the clarity needed in the college.
The School's administrative team were happy with the overall TOA service, and were thrilled when experiencing the end results of the products’ performance the first time.
