St. John's Convention Center is located in the heart of downtown. The convention center offers 47,000 square feet of divisible meeting space, catering, security, rentals and much more.

Purpose

St. John's Convention Center contacted TOA Canada to fully revamp the building's speakers and paging systems. They required a new system that minimized reverberation and maximized clarity. 

Challenge

Given the sheer size of the facility, the most prominent challenge was ensuring complete coverage whilst mitigating both inefficient overlap and dead zones. TOA had to include a powerful DSP and speakers fit for a multi-use building. 

Solution

TOA worked with the consultant and audio systems installer to devise and execute the absolute best system and equipment to meet all conditions.

St. John's Convention Center was very satisfied with the system, sound quality, and overall product performance. Visitors can experience the sound quality for themselves by partaking in any of the many events that occur in the premises!
