The Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington Catholic District School Board is the Catholic English school board for the region and is headquartered in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. The Board provides education to approximately 15,000 students in 30 elementary and 6 secondary school communities.
The board conducts monthly meetings to address current and future initiatives, as well as other matters related to student education. Since the meeting space also serves as a multi-purpose area, the board recognized the need for a new conference system that provides clear audio and ensures easy setup and operation.
Striving to accommodate the diverse needs and skill levels of various groups that utilize this room for meetings presented a unique challenge for this project. Each group may have different technical proficiencies, expectations, and requirements, making it essential to ensure that the space is equipped with a user-friendly conference system, adaptable to meet the varying demands effectively.
The solution we provided involved upgrading and streamlining the conference system to our TS-820 Infrared Wireless Conference System, whilst also providing education for groups on using the TS-820 effectively. Additionally, eight handheld microphones were added to accommodate those who prefer this option, enhancing usability and flexibility for all users.
The board office expressed great satisfaction with their newly implemented conference system! They appreciated its improved functionality, user-friendly design, and enhanced audio quality, which handedly addressed the differing needs of various user groups.
