The Vaughan Metropolitan Center (VMC) is one of Canada’s largest master planned communities, complimented by a world-class transit system offering residents and businesses seamless connectivity throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
The VMC needed to improve their clients’ experience by installing a new BGM and paging system to provide reliable and intelligible audio throughout the building.
The VMC had many different areas to take into consideration when drafting up designs, such as the lobby, tunnel access to transit, and elevator lobbies throughout the building. These aspects added layers of a challenge to ensure that the audio quality is consistent throughout.
TOA equipment granted a great amount of flexibility and integration with other equipment throughout the facility, making TOA products the perfect solution for this installation. The configurability of the 9000 Series amplifiers ensured that each distinct zone within the building would have sound tailored to its needs so that users' journeys are not jarring when in the building.
After the installation, these products continue to prove their use as clients are treated to high-quality sound projected at optimal levels, regardless of their placement within the building.
