The Newmarket Courthouse is a satellite court providing selected and limited court services in conjunction with a main court office.

Purpose

The courthouse required a door access system for the courthouse security. They needed to be able to control who was admitted into the building and control building access in case of an emergency.

Challenge

With such a high priority justifiably being put on the building and it's residents' security, the primary challenge of this install was configuring the system to the exact design requirements of the facilitators. The broad strokes, the Courthouse needed to be able to monitor, manually control, and by association restrict door access to areas within the building. Essentially requiring a curated system for ensure the security of the courthouse.

Solution

Newmarket Courthouse is now home to TOA's N-8000 Intercom System, including multiple analog master stations, substations, emergency use substations, and a direct select unit. The courthouse can monitor door access and maintain a secure building via their N-8000 IP Intercom.

Feedback

The courthouse was fitted with an excellent security and access system, ensuring that people are safe in emergencies. Newmarket Courthouse is very satisfied with their new security system, and are placed at ease knowing that they have a secure system in place. While we hope such an emergency never happens, they are now well equipped should the need for it ever arise.
