TOA announces significant expansion of their Technical Department.

TOA Canada Corporation continues to take great strides in the marketplace and with greater success comes an increased need to support our customers. With that in mind, TOA Canada has for the first time in its history grown its technical staff to levels never seen before. The goal is to provide the technical and sales support to our customers and our sales force to offer a reliable place in which they can come to anytime for answers

“It’s fantastic! Our technical support department is now a blue-chip unit”, declares TOA Canada Director & General Manager Rico Lucia. “Our products can be very technical, adding these new members to our current staff will provide the support our customers deserve”. TOA, a manufacturer and distributor of Sound and PA equipment, along with intercom and mass notification systems, prides itself on strengthening relationships with customers by making a special effort and achieving a result.

The two new hires arrive at the Mississauga headquarters with a world of experience. Not only is the technical department here to support and advise our customers but also improve upon the products functionality and ability to integrate with other manufactures. Faisal Mughal, TOA’s Product Support associate brings with him an expertise in DSP’s, video & audio conferencing, and control systems. He is also very knowledgeable in networking fundamentals such as SIP/H323, TCP/IP and VPN. In his previous position Faisal was lead in various projects dealing with large conference rooms and phone systems integration. Faisal has kept growing his education portfolio and boasts an impressive resume. He is Cisco certified in CCIE voice and CCVP in addition he has an A/V Programmer Engineer certificate from Creston Technical Institute. Not to mention he also carries Master of Engineering Electrical Engineering (M.Eng.), from Ryerson University.

Parth reaches TOA with a background in a wide range of product lines. His focus will be to assist our customers while at the same time helping our Regional Sales Managers across Canada. TOA brought Parth Gadhavi into the fold to be the Technical Sales Support member. He is highly proficient in A/V systems solutions, Access Control Systems, Public Address Systems and BGM implementation. Parth was a key member of the design and install team that renovated the entire audio system at Damodar Auditorium in Mumbai India. Parth has over 6 years of experience in various fields of Audio Visual and has held different position’s including Product Support Specialist and Project Manager. Parth also possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering.

Transferring these skills and experience to the TOA environment can be somewhat of a challenge;
“Both of them have been great and attentive as we go over our product line” stated the Technical Department Manager Mike Venner. “They are adapting very nicely and have already made strong contributions to our team.”
