VM-2000 Series

The VM-2120 is a multifunctional amplifier that can be mounted in an EIA-Standard equipment rack (3-unit size). The unit comes with 4 audio inputs including the background music input, and the speaker output section which has an internal attenuator and 5-zone selector. It permits not only general-purpose broadcast, but also Emergency Broadcast based on the EN60849 Standard which gives pre-recorded voice instructions(*1) in the emergency situation. Broadcast can be made from an optional RM-200M Remote Microphone as well as from the amplifier, and can be remotely controlled from external equipment. In addition, the unit features the surveillance function(*2) which automatically checks the system for failures. (*1) An optional EV-200 Voice Announcement Board is required. (*2) An optional SV-200M Surveillance Board is required.

The RM-200M Remote Microphone connects to the VM-3240VA, VM-3360VA, VM-2120 and VM-2240 for the purpose of making emergency(*3)/general broadcast announcements.

The RM-210 is an extension unit for increasing the number of function keys of TOA's Remote Microphones.

The EV-200M is a playback-only Voice Announcing board to play back the messages recorded on The EV-350R. The EV-200M is designed to be built in the VM-2000 series amplifiers and VX-2000 system.

Designed to be built in the VM-2120/-2240 amplifiers, the SV-200MA permits monitoring of individual speaker line or power amplifier failures for status indication.

Designed to be mounted on the circuit board, the unit converts an input/output of unbalanced type into that of balanced type.
