Wearable, Hands-free Personal PA Available at TOA

TOA Canada Corporation introduces an innovative portable Personal PA System (ER‐1000) that delivers high‐quality sound, all from the convenience of an adjustable (and expandable) belt with a built‐in wearable powered speaker. Easy to operate and comfortable to wear, this PA system, features a hands‐free headset with an electret condenser microphone. The 4” (10cm) powered speaker unit has a Neodymium driver, is slightly curved and fits snugly around  the user waist. The ER‐1000 has low power consumption and can be used for up to 8 hours. The output power can be adjusted depending on the number of batteries the user chooses to use. 6 AA batteries will provide 6 watts of rated power (10W max.), while 4 AA batteries will provide 3 watts of rated power (4W max). This wearable megaphone style, hands‐free, unit features an approximate audible range of 80 meters, has a secondary music source, ideal for an MP3 player (which also includes a pouch/holder for the MP3 player), ideal for playing background music or a pre‐recorded message. TOA’s ER‐1000, Personal PA System is ideal for tour guides, tradeshows, fitness classes, attracting a crowd, directing traffic and other security/safety related applications.
