IR Wireless Microphone System Now Available

TOA Canada Corporation is pleased to introduce an Infrared Wireless Microphone System that incorporates a range of conference and communication enhancing features that will appeal to users who want confidentiality as well as interference-free communication. Because the microphones use infrared signals, sensitive discussions during a meeting will not be intercepted, and the wireless microphones IR-200M and IR-300M can be used in an unlimited number of adjacent rooms simultaneously without interference. TOA’s Infrared Wireless Microphone Systems are ideal for educational and business environments.

Infrared Wireless Microphone SystemTOA’s IR-200M is a hand‐held Infrared Wireless Microphone designed for stable voice transmission. Two infrared emitters are strategically placed on the body of the microphone to help prevent the emitter from being accidentally covered by the hand when holding the microphone. TOA’s IR-300M hands‐free lavaliere style Infrared Wireless Microphone features an easy‐to‐wear, neck‐suspended design. Both microphones feature adjustable infrared light emission intensity at two levels, two selectable channel frequencies and an antibacterial treatment. The Infrared Wireless Tuner

IR-702T comes with a built‐in two‐channel fixed‐frequency tuner. Up to four infrared light receivers can be installed per unit, and the unit is equipped with a signal reception light and knob for microphone volume control. There are two line outputs, one with a MIX output switch allowing output of mixed voices from channels A and B. IR-700D Infrared Wireless Distributor features four receiver mixing outputs and two distribution outputs. By using the IR-700D in conjunction with TOA’s IR-702T and (optional accessories) YW‐1022Y or YW-1024Y, the system can be configured with up to 16 infrared receivers. Both units are rack‐mountable. TOA’s new IR Series has three receiver choices. IR-500R Wall‐Mount Receiver can be installed in an electrical box, and comes with supplied wall‐mounting brackets. The reception area is approximately 15 meters line of sight. IR-510R Ceiling Mount Receiver comes with supplied ceiling‐mounting brackets. This model covers a practical radius of approximately 8 meters line of sight. TOA’s IR-520R Wall‐Mount Receiver can be mounted on a wall or on a microphone stand. Reception range is approximately 15 meters line of sight. All three models are equipped with a power indicator LED.

An optional battery charger IR-200BC is available. This unit is capable of charging up to 2 microphones (both hand‐held and hands‐free types) at one time. The IR Series microphones can be used in a room where TOA’s TS-800/900 Series Infrared Wireless Conference Systems are in operation, offering added convenience. TOA’s IR Series Infrared Wireless Microphone System is backed by TOA’s five year warranty.
