Dear Dr. Sound,
I have an AM-1 Real-time Steering Array Microphone. Can you offer me information on how to run the app or PC browser vases settings and configuration.
Do you have to configure the controller to a wireless network for the ipad to connect?
When you connect it to a PC do you simply connect the laptop to the controller unit LAN and enter IP in browser or does another step have to happen first?
Thank you for contacting TOA.
The app is iOS based and runs on an iPad or iPad mini. Once the app is downloaded from the app store the IP address of the control unit is entered then a connection is made for control and monitoring.
For PC browser settings you would need to enter the IP address of the controller and then you would have access to the settings and config.
You do need to put the controller on a wireless network for the ipad to connect. Once the controller is connected to a wireless network the ipad is on, you will need to enter the IP address of the controller in the app for them to communicate to each other.
You can connect a PC directly to the controller via the LAN connection but you will need to set your PC’s network card to a static IP so both PC and AM-1 controller are on the same range.
If you have further questions please let me know.
